Use this page when running Roblox & YouTuber Studio as a 5-day camp.
At a glance
| Day | Blocks | Goal |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Setup, Stage 1, Stage 2 | Students build the opening obby path and learn capture expectations. |
| 2 | Stage 3, Stage 4, Stage 5 | The obby has danger, movement, and good clip moments. |
| 3 | Stage 6, Stage 7, Stage 8 | Students finish, publish, playtest, and capture footage. |
| 4 | Stage 9, Stage 10, catch-up | Students edit in iMovie and prepare a premiere. |
| 5 | Rehearsal, export check, parent demo | Students show the game and the video workflow. |
Minimum viable finish
A student should leave with a short playable obby and at least one edited gameplay clip.
Coach triage
- If building falls behind, shorten the obby so recording can still happen.
- If video editing stalls, make a simple sequence: title, best clip, end card.
- If a student is ahead, have them add voiceover or a cleaner thumbnail/title.
Common stuck points
- Students may record before the game has a clear start and finish.
- Mac screen recording permissions can block capture.
- Exporting video takes time; start checks before parent arrival.
