Block 1: Recap + warmup
Prompt: "Without explaining it, show your favorite part of your project so far."
Blocks 2-5: Build blocks 6-8
Goal: students add the middle systems that make the project feel complete.
What to say:
"Today your project starts to feel like a real finished piece. Keep testing after each feature and fix small bugs before they turn into big ones."
Watch for:
- Students who are behind and need a smaller success target.
- Fast students who can add challenge, sound, visuals, or custom rules.
- Students who are changing too much at once and making debugging harder.
Block 6: Theme or customization block
Goal: every student makes the project feel like their own.
What to say:
"Pick a visual style or personal twist. Apply it to at least three places in your project so it feels intentional."
Watch for:
- Students stuck choosing a theme. Offer three options and make them pick.
- Students trying to rebuild everything. Redirect to colors, labels, sounds, names, or small rule changes.
Block 7: Wrap + reflection
Round-robin: "What did you customize today?"
Preview: "Tomorrow we finish the core project and choose stretch work."
